Adaptive Golf and Other Sports, a non-profit organization with a passion for promoting inclusivity and enabling people with disabilities to participate in sports, is proud to sponsor a high school student whose journey to success has already left an indelible mark on those who know him. Meet Ryder Bliss, an extraordinary young man who has surpassed all odds to become a beacon of inspiration in the jet ski community.
Ryder Bliss, a favorite among locals, is not your average high school student. Born with a disability that would have discouraged many, Ryder took a different route. He decided early on that he would not let this define his dreams.
Three years ago, Ryder discovered a profound love for jet skiing. His father, Nick Bliss says he really “didn’t know anything about it” and originally thought jet skiing would just be a “fun way to spend some time together”. Ryder had a different idea. Since then, he has gone on to compete and even win in events every year. Ryder says he “loves to compete”.
Adaptive Golf and Other Sports’ mission centers on breaking down barriers and enabling individuals with disabilities to actively participate in sports, and Ryder Bliss’s journey is an inspiration to everyone. Adaptive Golf and Other Sports recognizes Ryder’s extraordinary potential and is proud to be able to sponsor him in his future endeavors in the sport.
As Ryder Bliss continues to flourish as a jet skier and an individual, it is clear that his journey is far from over. With ongoing support from local organizations like Adaptive Golf and Other Sports, he is poised to reach new heights and continue making waves in the jet ski community.
