In the picturesque desert oasis of Lake Havasu, something happened recently that left participants, volunteers, and spectators alike filled with inspiration and hope. Lake Havasu Adaptive Golf and Other Sports, a local non-profit organization committed to promoting inclusive sports and recreation, hosted the Adaptive Disc Golf Outing for the athletes of Mile Markers and New Horizons Center. The event kicked off with a warm welcome from the organizers and sponsors. The day was filled with athletes and volunteers cheering each other on. Lake Havasu Golf and Disc Golf Club members were excited to be a part of this incredible event, coming out to volunteer and give everyone the opportunity to enjoy the game. Of course, Emmy, the golden retriever was out there to show her support as well.
